By purchasing any items/services from Helen & Jane Creative, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions below.
Pricing & Payments
All pricing is determined at the discretion of Helen & Jane Creative, based upon the specific needs of the project. A detailed contract will be provided to the Client outlining all costs & fees associated with the project. All costs are subject to change without notice.
Please ensure you carefully check over all proofs thoroughly including content/spelling, layout, card sizes/color/type, font size and ink color.
You will receive 1 complimentary proof round for minor revisions to text, layout/calligraphy and one final design proof, to approve revisions (if required) before proceeding to print. Any further proof rounds required will incur an additional fee of $100.00 USD per revision.
Although we thoroughly check over all handwritten goods, occasionally errors may occur. In this instance, please contact us immediately and we will send a correction or refund the amount paid for the incorrectly written goods, if a correction is not available for any reason. If the error is on the list provided by you, the correction will incur additional writing/shipping costs.
Color & Print Disclaimer
We strive to represent the colors shown on our website and your digital proofs as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the printed color will be identical to the color on your screen. Please note that due to a variety of monitor settings, the colors of your items as seen on your monitor may slightly vary from the actual printed color.
Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations
Refunds & exchanges
Due to the customized nature of your project, we do not offer refunds or exchanges. With hand lettering, it is common for there to be variances in the spacing, size, and style of letters. As calligraphy is an art, no two handwritten pieces can be identical. All sales are final. All orders must be reviewed within 48 hours of delivery. Within 48 hours of delivery, and at our sole discretion, reasonable requests for revision will be considered.
Orders with spelling, spacing, address, or other such mistakes that were present on the proofs approved by the Client are not our responsibility. Client may request a reprint. The full cost of the reprint will be covered by the client. If the prints the Client received do not match the approved proof, we will reprint all affected items free of charge. If there is an error in on our end (ex. wording on the prints you received do not match the approved proof), we will do our best to remedy the situation. Such requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
We pack all of our stationery orders with utmost care to ensure your paper arrives at your doorstep in pristine condition. However, we cannot accept full responsibility if your items are damaged in the mail. Once we release the package to a third-party mail carrier, we also relinquish liability for the shipping and handling of the package. We are unable to refund money on a purchase that is lost, damaged, etc. in transit to the Client.
In order to meet our turnaround promises, we get started on the proof for your order as soon as soon as we receive a signed contract and deposit. We can not refund your deposit or payment in the event that you need to cancel your order.
Should images of work curated by Helen & Jane Creative be published, H&J must be correctly credited and notified of the publication prior to its feature. This is valid to both printed publications and online blog features.
We retain the rights to post your invitations/wedding goods on our website and social media. If there is an issue with us doing so, please advise beforehand.
All designs, images and artwork on this site are the sole property of Helen & Jane Creative unless otherwise indicated. This includes all designs and artworks used during the proofing process. Under no circumstances may this work be used for personal use, nor may it be repurposed or derivative works be made from it.
